Why does this Lego set designed for children, not look the way that I want it to???!!!

My parents had one of these, just a newer(Early 70s) version then this one. Pity, they would have gotten me one if it looked like their old one….

Looks great! Love the window-curtains and the pop-up roof! The only thing it is missing is the spare-tire from the front! :)

The front looks totally off, what with the flat windscreen and the indicators just a quarter of the size of the headlights and a full stud offset in either direction. booo, legal connections fail.

On the other hand: An official Lego Bulli, yay!

I need this. NOW.
What’s the price of this beauty?

I agree with the nose of it being all kinds of wrong, though, also as pointed out, an official Lego 60′s Deluxe is nice. I would also like to point out that Bus’s (Transporters, Kombi’s, etc.) are in FACT Type 2, not Type 1 (Beetle, Super Beetle,Thing, Kubel/schwimmwagen) so, it should read T2 not T1 in the description/Headline.

Please note the description is correct: T1 designation is not used to point out the factory designation type but the generation of the “Transporter” line. This model is for a VW “Type 2″ T1 Camper. The model Sarah is referring on her message was called VW “Type 2″ T2.

Hey Nannan, you wrote 10221 twice and you can see on the pictures it’s 10220 in two places. ;)

Wrong name, wrong color, wrong shape, and probably overpriced as well. But I want one so badly…
