First pictures of LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 2 [News]
The first pictures of LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 2 have shown up from the Nuremburg Toy Fair. Although there’s not yet an official listing of all the figures in this series, they look just as interesting as those of the upcoming Series 1 in June of this year.

^ Nope, what you are clearly seeing is a Greek, more specifically a Spartan minifig.

Okay, I need that mini-figure with the afro, specifically FOR the afro. Two bad Series One isn’t even coming out until June; that probably means we won’t get these ones until next winter, I guess.

Though i am unsure from that picture what his accessory (a black square?) is supposed to be, whether he’s a disco dude or not… Maybe an LP??

Hmmm I hadn’t thought of a Disco Stu guy. If it is a record he is holding why wouldn’t take make it round so it be unique like the others? I dunno, guess we’ll find out later.

Very cool! Looks like:
-Disco guy with… something mysterious
-Singer with microphone
-Weightlifter with weights
-Vampire with bat
-Greek soldier with shield and… javelin?
-Mexican with maracas
-Skier with skies
-Lifeguard with flotation thing
-Mime with invisible wall (Or is it an invisible rope? Can’t tell from this angle!)
-Circus ringleader with whip
It looks like I’m going to just have to go ahead and want the 2nd collection as much as the 1st.

It seems logical to me that the disco guy would be carrying some sort of record, so that 2×2 tile he’s got is probably some sort of “sleeve” with a decal on the front.
