October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when concerned humans raise awareness, promote earlier diagnosis, and support people affected by a disease that affects over 10% of women globally. The campaign is signified by wearing a pink ribbon, but many advocates find other ways to show support, like a group of LEGO fans who are using their bricks and voice to spread awareness under the #Cyberpink2025 hashtag. What started as a six-builder collab has been growing as all are invited to participate with the hashtag. The participants promise to return bigger and more organized next year.
Leading the charge for a cause is zakar.ion with this rabbit-themed Jū Gaito mech. The mech’s eyes come from this year’s Lucky Cat set while the stickered pink elements are sourced from the 2 Fast 2 Furious Honda. My favorite element is the matching minifig.
part_parakeet fights back with this Killer Cupcake, a sweet ally in the fight against cancer.
ronin.bricks enters the fray with Azalea, a brick-built bot sporting a giant left fist and a very cool cybernetic sword.
rigwalkermocs lights things up with the Cherry Bomb, piloted by the Legendary Athena Hale. I love the helmet details, evoking cherries, and of course we’re big fans of the frog details on the legs!
artist_davs strides in with Mech-bot Priscilla, showcasing the builder’s signature style of NPU-dense bodies with minfig heads.
br1ckman_uk skates in, ray gun blazing, with SHARE THE LOVE. The custom fig features many fun details – I really like the transparent Orion arms.
m1ndxbend3r brings the chillwave vibes with this Sunset mech. The gradient of pinks into orange is such a fun palette for a mecha, and the pilot is equal parts Paradisa and Overwatch.
What Cooper Watson, aka destroman08, lacks in pink elements, they make up for with black lights!
entertainingly_lame is locked and loaded with the Destroid piglet mkii. Whoever said pigs can’t pilot artillery mecha clearly didn’t know what they were talking about.
Minifig builder phiphibrick joins the campaign with Luis, the Robot with the Pink Bear Hood. The brick-built arsenal is very unique and attractive.
fall_in_bricks rolls up with Pinket & Metal Bite, a wheel-based bot on Retro Roller Skate tires.
hodgiedesignstudios introduces Channa Kreyt and her synth Burd. This mecha-chocobo is ready to kick cancer to the curb.
@mk.13_7 ‘s main source of pink bricks was the D.va mech from Overwatch, so the builder modded that model with extra armaments.
Finally, there’s always time to crab, as demonstrated by exoch.i, who scuttles in with cyberpunk crustacean.
Thanks to all of these builders for supporting the campaign to ensure women and all those affected by breast cancer have access to preventative care and treatment until we find a cure.
