Talented Seattle-area builder Shawn Snyder has created a wonderful pair of Fire Dinosaurs based on the Dinotopia book series by James Gurney. For the uninitiated, Dinotopia is an isolated island inhabited by shipwrecked humans and sentient dinosaurs who have learned to coexist peacefully as a single symbiotic society.

The head honcho fire guy rides atop the sleek brontosaurus model, featuring high-powered water cannon and some very creative brickwork to achieve the thunder lizard’s face and neck.
Carrying additional equipment and seating four support firefighters, these fire dudes look like they are having the time of their lives judging by their expressions.
The Triceratops model lumbers along with all the fire accessories you’d need, including a huge roll of hose and hand tools. A lovely pair of imaginative and well constructed Dino Fire Trucks!
