The Brothers Brick

The Brothers Brick’s finest: Contributor Showcase

We here at The Brothers Brick pride ourselves on not only running a world-class LEGO blog highlighting the best models and news from the LEGO fan community, but also being pretty accomplished builders ourselves. At a recent team strategy event, we asked our staff of expert builders to bring their best models, so that we could highlight our unique talents.

Andrew’s model highlights the importance of balanced composition in a LEGO model.

Caylin’s model displays her skill at combining disparate elements into a cohesive whole, which helps hold the viewer’s attention.

Ralph’s model shows his roots as a military builder, and his prowess at creating tension within a scene.

Josh’s model shows his mastery of the elements of fantasy and medieval warfare.

Simon’s model clearly demonstrates his accomplishments as a Space master builder, with excellent shaping and superb greebling.

Iain’s model displays his love of intriguing characters, as well as his thorough understanding of the importance of posing. Many novice builders simply employ static poses for their characters.

Chris’s build displays his prowess at using unusual techniques and questionably legal connections to create a cohesive and fascinating model.

Sadly, Rod stumbled on a loose 2×4 brick on the floor as he was carrying his model in, and in an instant the product of many long nights of hard building was undone.
