The sets will be “haunted” via an app and kids will have to uncover mysteries and turn the sets back to normal by finding and releasing ghosts.

Three new LEGO Movie 2 sets revealed, including a Space Palace, Sparkle Spa and Triple Decker Couch [News]

LEGO has revealed three new sets based on The LEGO Movie 2 ahead of the 2019 New York Toy Fair later this week. The three sets include 70838 Queen Watevra’s ‘So-Not-Evil’ Space Palace, a foot-and-a half-tall space castle, 70837 Shimmer & Shine Sparkle Spa!, a place to change for the better with the help of a vampire, and 70842 Emmet’s Triple-Decker Couch Mech, a 2-in-1 build of the iconic couch with an added level.

EDIT: These LEGO Movie 2 sets are now available from LEGO.

In addition to the initial wave of nineteen sets, Apocalypseburg, The Rexcelsior, and four BrickHeadz, these three bring the total number of sets based on the movie sequel to 28. This new wave of LEGO Movie 2 sets will be available later this Spring, likely in May, with the Triple Decker Couch being a Target and LEGO Store Exclusive. (Fair warning, theses sets contain miniscule spoilers but in no way would ruin the movie.)

LEGO Ninjago + Boost compatibility unveiled at New York Toy Fair 2018 [News]

The major LEGO Ninjago news from New York Toy Fair 2018 today is that the LEGO BOOST system we reviewed recently is being extended to support other product lines, starting with LEGO Ninjago dragons. This confirms information that the LEGO Boost team shared with The Brothers Brick at CES Las Vegas ahead of BOOST’s launch last year — that BOOST is designed as a long-term line, not a one-off set.

The new LEGO Ninjago set, 70652 Stormbringer will retail for $39.99 and go on sale in August (one of the only Summer 2018 sets displayed at Toy Fair). The set was showcased as part of the LEGO Boost area at Toy Fair, and no other Ninjago sets were revealed today.

Hands on with the LEGO Star Wars Han Solo movie Kessel Run Millennium Falcon at Toy Fair New York 2018 [News]

We’re live from the show floor at Toy Fair New York 2018, where LEGO held a press-only event this morning to unveil the range of LEGO sets that will be launched this spring. Unfortunately, many of the rumored and previously leaked sets are not part of the range of products on display at Toy Fair, so our coverage is somewhat more limited than in previous years.

Overall, our impression of the new Millennium Falcon is that it’s very similar to the Episode VII Falcon from The Force Awakens. We’ll take a closer look after the jump.
