This is what we’re all about. We scour the web for the best custom LEGO models to share with you. From castles and spaceships to planes, trains, and automobiles, you’ll find the best LEGO creations from builders all over the world right here on The Brothers Brick.

Vintage “Planet” Record Player

This last weekend in Seoul, the LEGO fan group Brickinside put on an incredible display! One creation in particular really jumped out at me. Built by Hayarobie, this vintage record player is full of awesome details. I especially love the transistors and other electronic wizardry going on there.

Loctite Girl is a member of the group and took lots of pictures of the display. Check them out for more coolness!

LEGO Minolta Toyota 88C-V

Minolta Toyota 88C-V

Tim Inman, AKA RabidNovaRacer, is off to the races with this sleek race car. I love the angles and curves that he was able to achieve on this beauty. It’s definitely full of win and raring to go!

Magma City: A town with a lava problem

South Korean professional LEGO building quartet Olive Seon are known for their massive city dioramas. This latest city is having the disturbing problem of being built above a river of lava. The airtanker in the middle of dumping water is a terrific image, and adds a huge amount of dynamism to this diorama, and I always appreciate that the builders include a lot of below-ground details.

Totally Floored

Henry F. (AKA Dubbadgrim) has risen from the dead and created this hilarious little scene. I love the effect of the creature bursting through the floor! It’s really extremely well-done.

LEGO Train Montage

It isn’t often that we see such excellent video of a collaborative train layout and it certainly helps that there are some really lovely trains in there too. Hats off to Michael Gale for a job well done!

The video is on Flickr as well, if you prefer that or want to leave a comment there.

Edit (JW): This is not actually a collaborative layout. Michael built the whole thing. Most impressive!

Warhammer 40K tank on a roll

In the spirit of that old Imperial saying, Victory is achieved through mettle. Glory is achieved through metal, comes this beast of a tank. The Vindicator will stop at nothing to crush its opponents, and flickr user Slnine has done a bang-up job with this LEGO version. While the builder is careful to point out that he took inspiration from some previous models, his version is still super cool and quite a feat.

Looking sleek in orange and green

It’s that time of the year again when Vic Vipers flood the LEGO fan communities. A good spaceship will never get old though, and Zach’s Vic Viper version looks superb. I particularly enjoy the clever placement of the fins on the sides of the cockpit, altering the shape of the visible windscreen.

Greek Shadow Art

The Strategists (Achilles and Ajax playing draughts)

David Smith Alexander has been working on a series of Greek Shadow Art and they are truly unique. While they look simple, telling a story with all black figures in silhouette is not easy. Doing it with LEGO makes it even harder.

Spaceman Blues

Vince Toulouse is a master at building curved shapes out of Lego, a consistently difficult feat. His latest spacecraft combines his curved style with a vertical axis to make something that feels properly alien. The variety of manipulator arms at the bottom cement the otherworldly vibe.

Diplomacy

Diplomacy

This lovely scene by Tim Schwalf is packed with really nicely planned details. The wainscotting and trophy heads are a great touch but I think my favorite bits are the hat and scarf on the coat rack.

Can it make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs?

While at first glance this ship by Davor Davor may look like the Millenium Falcon, it is actually a lesser known ship called the YV-545 light freighter. This creation spans 85 x 64 x 20 studs and uses about 3,700 pieces.
