NINJAGO City Markets joins the series of exclusive sets as the fourth expansions [News]

Unveiled today, 71799 NINJAGO City Markets becomes the latest exclusive (or direct to consumer) LEGO NINJAGO set. A record-breaking 6,163-piece diorama is the largest set of the theme and will go on sale on June 3 for US $369.99 | CAN $479.99 | UK £319.99.

Just like the previous exclusive sets, 70620 Ninjago City, 70657 Ninjago City Docks, and 71741 Ninjago City Gardens, the new City Markets explore the theme of futuristic urban architecture heavily influenced by Japanese motives.

As usual, the model is full of nooks and details to explore. One of the set’s highlights is the “working” cable car between levels.

The set comes with whopping 21 minifigures. Some of them carry new unique outfits, and Bionicle fans will be pleased to get a new Tahu shirt print.

According to the product description, the complete build is 19″ (46cm) high, 21″ (51cm) wide and 10″ (25cm) deep.

Stay tuned for early reviews coming very soon!

Why did they have to put the first smiling Zane head print in such an expensive set? Even on Bricklink he’s going to be $20. Sigh.
