LEGO reveals 3 new Monkie Kid sets for summer 2021 [News]

Three new Monkie Kid sets, which will be released on July 1, are listed on LEGO.com. From the smallest to the biggest, the sets are Sandy’s Power Loader Mech (80025), Pigsy’s Noodle Tank (80026), and The Bone Demon (80028), a terrifyingly huge undead creature that glows in the dark and tips the scales at 1,375 pieces.

Make sure to check the newly announced sets from other themes:

80025 Sandy’s Power Loader Mech | 520 pieces | US $54.99 | CAN $69.99 | UK £39.99

Like the name suggests, the set consists of Sandy’s mech along with a smaller mech for the bad guy, Syntax. There are 2 minifigures in the set, along with the bigfig Sandy and Mo (Sandy’s cat) with new sunglasses and a neck-bag.

80026 Pigsy’s Noodle Tank | 662 pieces | US $59.99 | CAN $TBD | UK £44.99

Similar to the mech, the name of this set is very self-explanatory. Once built, you get a tank-like vehicle which is also a noodle shop. There are 4 minifigures are included, one of them being Pigsy.

80028 The Bone Demon | 1,375 pieces | US $119.99 | CAN $159.99 | UK £89.99

The biggest of all three sets is The Bone Demon with 1,375 pieces. It is made of smaller builds that come together to create the big Bone Demon. There are 5 minifigures in this set, including Monkie Kid and Mei. Oh, and the “bones” of the demon glow in the dark.

Nice to see lego acknowledge, that girls might want to play with those sets as well.
The pig driving a pork-noodle-soup-tank is the right type of cracy.

I work in a videogame industry and we have to remove all the bones and blood for releases in China so I was under the impression that bones depictions are not welcomed in Chinese market.
Makes me wonder why they created this huge bone demon creation with skeleton minifigs. Would love to see if its going to become successful.
