LEGO 40516 Everyone is Awesome set was announced just a few days ago. Designed by Matthew Ashton, Vice President of Design at LEGO, it is the first set that directly addresses the LGBTQ+ community.

Matthew talks about the importance of this set, both for him and for the community. “It’s a very special set to us at the LEGO Group because it’s the first time we’re launching a product that really celebrates diversity in our fanbase and the LGBTQIA+ community”. He talks about how the set came into being and the details they thought about when creating it.
