LEGO Botanical Collection unveiled with captivating Bonsai Tree and magnificent Flower Bouquet [News]

Thanks to Polish retailer Bonito, we get a first look at LEGO’s new Botanical Collection featuring Bonsai Tree and a Flower Bouquet. The two releases take the same dark thematic box art sytle intended to target adult LEGO fans.

LEGO Botanical Collection 10281 Bonsai | 878 Pieces | US $49.99 | CAN $TBD | UK £44.99

The bonsai tree comes together with a square pot and a low table display and two options of displays for the branches to indicate the changing seasons of your preference. The leaves are made of earth green limb elements with frogs elements appearing for the first time in pink and 7-petaled flowers in pink highlights to contrast with the white limb elements.

The Flower bouquet consists of 12 stalks of which 10 of them feature full-blown flowers. The set comes without any display structure. It would be ideal to prepare a simple vase if this is to be displayed as part of a personal collection.

    I’ll never prefer plastic over real plants, but I admit that the flowers look very nice for Lego flowers. It’s a lovely color combo! Pterodactyl wings as leaves is NPU, as well as a bit cursed with those tiny little plant claws.

    There was a rumor that the discontinued Light Purple color would return. I wonder if this bouquet could have been one of the reasons…
