I can understand the cost of the license etc, but is £350 really justified? I bought the Defender when it was first released after a long gap between purchasing Lego sets, whilst it was a great build it’s still hard to justify the cost for a model that isn’t motorised, and only collects dust on a shelf. I’m very aware the model will likely sell out when released, but for people like me who have a soft spot for the hobby but also could put £350 into a much smarter investment, these models are only pushing my disillusionment with Lego.

  2. Håkan

It’s a very low likelihood I’ll actually buy this thing, but I’m always for more color in Technic panels,, so I guess this might be a good parts pack…

  3. Joram Nowak

I’ve honestly seen better designs from MOCers than this one… Very disappointed with this one. Hard pass from me.

  4. Kunal

Not only is this thing hideous but they chose an awful colour as well. The Porsche and Bugatti sets were far more aesthetically pleasing.

  5. dchernack

This car would have looked so much better if they made it sand green rather than lime green. But it still looks amazing. I’ll wait for the TBB review before deciding to purchase or not though. I do find it strange that we still have to wait until August for the Ducati model while this thing gets released just days after its announcement…

  6. salamurai

can they do a Speed Champions version for those of us what don’t have $350 to drop on a toy?

  7. JB

Not sure what you’re all complaining about. I find it gorgeous. Will go well with my GT3.

  8. Connor O'Brien

Another otherwise-great-looking Technic model tarnished by brightly-coloured visible pieces inside that should’ve been moulded in black or grey, like that used to be, once. Ah well.

Wake me when they do a Speed Champions Countach, preferably in white, and I’d hope in scale with the F40.

  9. Greg Dlx

I am not into Technics but got to admit that this design is splendid. I will look at the Brothers Brick Review.

  10. Peter

I’ve spotted a slightly embarrassing spelling error in their press release. Who do I notify to bring this to their attention and how soon will a complementary Sian be winging it’s way to me as means of thanks?
