#10. 2018 LEGO Speed Champions sets revealed

Coming in at number 10, we brought you official images of the complete LEGO Speed Champions 2018 line-up back in January. From Ferraris to Mustangs, you went gaga over everything new coming down the speedway, stickers and all.


#9. The magical world of LEGO Harry Potter is back with a fascinating lineup of sets

It isn’t often that a LEGO theme comes back from the dead, and you guys certainly noticed because nearly half the news articles on this list are from the Wizarding World. First up was the reveal of some of the smaller sets including the Hogwarts Express and a new Quidditch pitch. Who knows what sets will come next in the resurrected theme?

LEGO turned the gaming world on its head by announcing a full lineup of sets inspired by the hit game Overwatch. The new theme puzzled some LEGO fans and delighted others. From pink mechs to a big Bastion, get your shopping lists ready because these sets hit the market in just a few days on January 2.

We are halfway through the list, and Creator Expert is back again with another set announced earlier this month! The 10264 Corner Garage is a three-story building with a vehicle workshop and gas station, animal clinic and a top-floor apartment. The new modular brings back dark orange in force and will be available for purchase on Jan 1.

The 40th anniversary of the minifigure came and went this year, and LEGO celebrated with an entire set of costumed characters. From birthday-themed cakes and balloons to a cowboy, cactus and cat costume, the series is one of the most creative we have seen yet. After the initial wave of Harry Potter playsets were released, LEGO unveiled this behemoth 6,000 piece “microscale” Hogwarts Castle, ranking it as the second-largest LEGO set of all time.
