That TIE Fighter is beautiful, but 70 bucks for a 500 piece set, makes you understand why LEGO sales haven’t been doing so great, especially when the same vehicle ten years ago was only a $20 set, and had a same amount of playability for kids.

I echo what Nate says. I shook my head at $29.99 for the Solo Speeder. That is a bit much and an easy pass.

I’m pretty disappointed that it’s just a standard looking TIE as opposed to the new model shown in the trailer that had a small secondary pod between the cockpit and the wing.

Not disappointed enough to skip the set, but enough that I’ll be holding off until it goes on sale.
    Probably.

TIEs tend to have higher price per brick than most sets it seems. I always figured that was because a considerable number of them are big plates, which seems to me like they’d be pricier than a more average size brick. Could be wrong on that count though.

The Millennium Falcon is a definite buy, the tie and the speeder I might pick up on sale. Everything else is a hard pass simply because my taste in Lego sets only includes space ships and modular buildings.
