70922 The Joker Manor from The LEGO Batman Movie officially revealed [News]

Not content to have a certain ninja-themed movie steal the entire spotlight this week, LEGO has revealed 70922 The Joker Manor from The LEGO Batman Movie. Based on several scenes taking place in Wayne Manor both before and after the Joker invades, the set clocks in at a whopping 3,444 pieces (the fourth largest set of the year).

The Joker Manor includes 10 minifigures (including exclusive white disco variants!), a brand new system of elements for a working roller coaster, and a few other new elements such as a curving wall piece to create funhouse mirrors. The set will be available on Nov. 24 as part of LEGO’s Black Friday promotions and will retail for $269.99 USD.

A quick look at the credits of The LEGO Batman Movie during the “Friends are Family” music number reveals that these disco figures are spot on, from Batman’s blue eyes to Batgirl’s gold hands, and will likely become the center of any party at Wayne Joker Manor.

Taking a look at the set itself, we see a veritable Joker-themed amusement park built on top of Wayne Manor. The additions include a roller coaster, several trap doors, two bombs adorning the front steps, as well as an “all seeing eyeball” up top. Here are the front and back photos:

In comparison to the actual movie version, the set captures the look and conceptual idea of Joker Manor well. Both feature “The Joker” neon sign as well as the rotating eyeball on the roof. Sadly, the movie version had a Ferris-wheel rather than a roller coaster.

This is also the first set to come with the Nightwing variant for Robin. This was seen briefly in the movie but featured heavily in The LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack for LEGO Dimensions. Sadly, the set does not come with Alfred or Harley Quinn white disco minifigures.

Additionally, the interior includes a cinema room with a “romantic DVD,” a kitchen with buildable microwave plus lobster and lemon-slice decorated tile elements, living room with a buildable grand piano, fireplace and bust, swimming pool room, and a music studio with guitar element and buildable mixing desk and loudspeakers.

Black Friday can’t get here soon enough!

    “Sadly, the movie version had a Ferris-wheel rather than a roller coaster.”

    WRONG!! This should read, “Gleefully, the set comes with an amazing new roller coaster family of elements instead of the boring, been-there-done-that ferris wheel as shown in the film.”

    @Martin:

    No, not true. The Disco minifigs and Robin in his “Nite-Wing” costume do appear to be the only minifigs that use new deco, but they aren’t the only new minifigs. Batman looks like the Type I version from the Speedwagon Batmobile. Barbara appears to be the same as the Arkham version. Harley is definitely the same as the Lowrider version. Joker uses the Lowrider body but the Balloon Escape head, and will qualify for a new catalog listing on Bricklink. Alfred I think is also made of existing parts, but again will get a new catalog listing.

    @Ricky:
    It’s really hard to make out anything in the picture above, but I do see some coaster framing surrounding the conical roof directly above the Joker sign. I don’t actually remember noticing it in the movie, though.
