LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes 2018 to be presented at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 [News]

As one of the worlds largest toys manufacturers, the LEGO Company won’t miss the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con convention to present the new 2018 Super Heroes sets. Even though the convention starts next week, official pictures of the LEGO Super Heroes sets are already available online. The three new medium-sized sets will feature some of our favorite heroes, like Superman and Wonder Woman, as well as characters that have never been released as LEGO minifigures before. Sets will range from $19.99 to $39.99, which is definitely good news considering all the awesome minifigures.

A couple years ago, I came up with this really cool idea (for which I actually bought trans-red 1×2 plates through LUGBulk…and still needed to buy more through Bricklink). I made a Flash trail kit. Yeah, lots of people have made a bit of speed blur to trail behind the Flash as he’s running around a layout, but this is something else. It uses over 13,000 parts and 30 Flash minifigs. It’s a fully modular set of Flash trail sections, including both hinged and straight clips so the trail can be incorporated into pretty much any layout on the fly. It has sections that allow him to run up and down walls. It packs into what ends up being a very heavy padded tool case. And all I can think about when looking at these new images is one single thought:

It’s the wrong color for Reverse Flash.

    *sigh*
