Welcome back fight fans, to Sin City Nevada for another round of Friday Night Fights! We’ve been seeing larger and larger ships these days, so tonight we are going to have a lightweight starfighter fight with two heavyweight builders. Let’s go to the tale of the tape.

In the red corner we have vince_toulouse and his DarkPlane:

In the blue corner we have Mark Stafford (lego_nabii) and his Neophyter:

As usual, constant reader, you are tasked with deciding the outcome of this bout by way of comment. On the last edition of Friday Night Fights, the Tiny Turbos, František won 5-1 with his lovely take on the American caddy. Tune in next week for another action packed edition of Friday Night Fights!

Dark Plane all the way – mine isn’t even in the same league as far as parts usage goes.

  2. LegoWarrior10

Definitely the Dark Plane. The translucent drill pieces on each side make it really stand out.

Gotta go with the Neophyter. The DarkPlane my look cool, but the Neophyter has so many great play features, interesting techniques, and impossible angles it wins my vote.

Also, having it sitting on my desk at home also helps…

While the NeoPhyter does get credit for having the bigger gun, chalk up one more for the DarkPlane. Aside from the great NPU, the color blocking is really nice.

Gotta go with Mark’s Neophyter. Not a fan of the Galidor usage, here or anywhere really. That being said, that armour piece is incorporated quite well compared to some attempts with Galidor bits.

Although the Dark Plane looks cool, the whole thing rides on that one ridiculously over-customized part (Galidor, I guess), which hardly looks Lego. For that, my vote goes to the Neophyter.
