Friday Night Fights (Round 22)

Welcome back fight fans, to Sin City Nevada for another rope-a-dope edition of Friday Night Fights! Tonight’s bout features two maritime maestros dueling for the honor of Poseidon and of course, your voting pleasure. Let’s go to the tale of the tape:

Fighting out of the red corner, from the Land of the Rising Sun…”Dangerous” Dak yuki and his “Aegis Ship.”

    Dave, I’m the only one who makes the matches, and while a few of the past bouts have been one-sided I didn’t think this would be one of them. I like the Aegis or I wouldn’t have put it up at all. I appreciate your vote though.

    I prefer the Aegis. Both are great models but getting such clean lines and recognizable silhouette at such a small scale is awesome. The Aegis gets my vote.

    While both of these entries are well executed I think that I will have to throw my vote behind the Aegis. When I first looked at both the Ferry and the Aegis, my urge was to vote for the Ferry because of the size and scale. It includes a lot to look but the larger size also allows for greater building flexibility. The Aegis on the other hand is a masterful build on a micro-scale and uses some rather interesting techniques to capture the look and feel of a modern warship. I also applaud the fact that there are very few studs showing which gives the ship a very sleek and smooth look. Great job for both entrants!
