I’d get it for the new wing pieces. Too bad I’ll never put my hands on this set, the price on my country should come for over $600.

Nice technic for the glass/broken windows!

Hmmm. The box image says 1619 pieces, but the press release says 1351 pieces.

Like that wing piece and the angels on the gate, but I think I prefer the old Arkham Asylum set. Now, if they had done a set that was closer to the scale of the haunted mansion….

Looking at this as the set it is meant to be, I don’t care for it that much. great minifigures, but it seems like it is just a facade. More so than even other sets like it.

As a selection of elements for my own buildings, it looks great. This set could easily become the facade for a couple of custom modulars for my city street.

@Greyman7: the piece count in this press release (and the age: 14 , instead of 12 like on the box) is most probably an accidental copy-paste from the press release of the 10233 Horizon Express (TGV), which does indeed have 1351 pieces.

I really love the way this set turned out. It’s fun to see how they updated so many elements from the 7785 Arkham Asylum set, and it’s definitely the most significantly improved upgrade (although I still love the 7785 version). I wonder why Lego decided to simply update so many of the 2006 Batman sets to very comparable 2012 sets, instead of throwing new idea’s in the mix.
