M3 Grant Medium Tank by Dan Siskind

Daniel Siskind (Brickmania) recently posted this awesome M3 Grant Medium Tank from World War II, in British 7th Armored Division (“Desert Rats”) markings:

The handlebars on the wheels are a nice touch, and notice the tan Brodie helmet prototypes from BrickArms on the side.

By the way, this should come as good news for all of you out there who ask if the items we feature here on The Brothers Brick are for sale (they generally aren’t) or if we can send you instructions (we can’t), Dan has a wide range of custom LEGO kits for sale, along with instructions for many of his LEGO designs.

on the website is says: PLEASE NOTE: All Brickmania kits are now sold out. Please don’t ask me to make “just one more” because I won’t do it. Limited edition means limited edition and sold out means sold out. Thank you, Dan

    Uhm..

I would change something in the text. Quote from Dan’s site”

    Nevertheless nice tank :D

I’ll never get why people feel the need to echo what someone else said…you’d think one person saying the kits aren’t being sold would be enough.

Anyway really nice tank, I recently build in tan and I’m envious of the parts here (especially the really innovative use of the BrickArms Brodie). I’m sure this must have taken awhile to sculpt just right.

Thanks for the coverage – was pretty shocked to see all the hits on this photo over the weekend.

It’s correct that none of my old kits have been for sale since 2003. I’m considering starting up kit sales again, but for the time being I’m only offering instructions.

    Thanks again!
