First there was cave racing, and then came mech racing, and now there is track racing by Nnenn, who presents a lineup of colorful racers united by their common love of tumbling treads and high speed thrusters. Will this be the next fad to inspire dozens of variations by other builders? Stay tuned to find out!
It seems pretty official that we’ll be seeing Count Dooku’s Solar Sailer hitting the shelves soon according to a catalog scan now appearing in multiple Brickshelf galleries. The release is marked February on the scan.

Fedde (Karf Oolhu) has dug deep into his heart (excuse the pun) and produced the glorious drilling machine “Doolittle”. Check out the lovely twisted stacks of teeth plates behind the main drill. I wonder if the two giant drills currently working somewhere beneath my feet inspired this.
JD Luse‘s microcity spans on a 64X64 studs base and contains over 100 micro buildings. This impressive layout lives up to the standards set by Shannon Young’s Shannonia, which served as the inspiration for the creation. Chrispockster‘s scene of ancient Japan has a ton of interesting building techniques and cool minifigures to look at. I like the vines on the trees and the broken stone steps leading up to the torii gate.

I thought that it might be nice to do something for the community to finish off 2008 (fixed thanks). So I’ve begun a project to develop a Western Train along with some instructions. You can find the instructions here or as an MPD.
