Brickshelf user vana treats us to an amazingly designed and photographed UCS scale Terran battlecuiser from the game StarCraft. The traditional greebles on studs technique prevails once again, making the model extra detailed.

StarCraft Factory by keika03
This might be old, given the hit-count in the folder, but keika03‘s Brickshelf gallery includes a pretty cool factory from StarCraft we haven’t featured here previously:

SCV good to go, sir!
I always liked clicking my WarCraft and StarCraft units repeatedly to see what they’d say. Some pretty hilarious stuff after about ten clicks (especially Ogres). Anyway, Flickrite jehkay has posted a cool little SCV:
What I like about LEGO creations based on StarCraft is that the low resolution on reference pictures gives the builder a lot of freedom to create unique solutions and interesting details. In jehkay’s SCV, I especially like the new wheel well thingy surrounding the driver.
All right, bring it on!
Flickr user and Classic-Spacer Kotua has posted a cool Terran Vulture unit from the classic real-time strategy game StarCraft, based on an original LEGO design by Mike Psiaki. That, naturally, gives me an excellent excuse to post Mike’s original StarCraft creations.
Here’s the Vulture Kotua recreated:
Here’s Mike’s awesome Wraith:
Finally, several infantry units — Marines, a Firebat, and a Medic:
(If you liked these, be sure to check out Kotua’s version of the vulture, as well as my own Blizzard-inspired minifigs.)
LEGO Diablo II and StarCraft minifigs
Blizzard Entertainment develops many of my favorite games — games in the WarCraft, StarCraft and Diablo “universes.” Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on minifigs based on Diablo II:
This week, I also added Terran units from StarCraft:
To be honest, I’ve seen better Terran Marines and Firebats on Brickshelf, but all of them use bricks instead of minifig parts. This is my attempt to build StarCraft minifigs using “normal” minifig parts.
