LEGO Agents Mission 7 8637 Volcano Base is now available from the LEGO Shop.
And for those of you who missed your chance to get a white protocol droid (K-3PO) last year, the former Toys R Us exclusive LEGO Star Wars set 7666 Hoth Rebel Base is once again available.
Okay, so it’s really an ad from LEGO for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars 10188 Death Star set, but it’s still really cool to watch it getting built in a time lapse video from BrickWorld 2008.
Remember, the Death Star is currently available for pre-order, and will ship by September 16.
For those curious to know what went on at the Toys R Us Midnight Sale last night, I took a ride to my local store to check out the frontline action. The Midnight Sale, hosted by participating Toys R Us stores, celebrates the release of new Star Wars Clone Wars toys, such as action figures, [...]

For the past few months, LEGO fans have wondered what’s inside the exclusive secret Indiana Jones box available at Comic-Con (July 24-27) with a limited edition of 500. Just now, the set has been listed on Ebay with its contents, revealed to be the BrickMaster Indy jeep along with two natives minifigs and a small [...]
The new LEGO Star Wars Clone Wars sets will be available soon, but attendees at Star Wars Celebration Japan got an early look at some of the sets — and the minifigs in particular.
Edge (エッジ) over at レゴ系 (The LEGO System) was there, and took a bunch of pictures of the LEGO Star Wars booth. [...]
Even robots sometimes get down in the dumps and have to scrounge for a living. Though this reminds me of something from the Futurama universe, Teikjoon sets this lovely little vignette in the Star Wars universe, where — on a planet embargoed by the Trade Federation — unemployed robots “choose to stay operational, scavenging for [...]
From the narrow gap in the nose to the detailed tail, Jarek’s A-Wing is a gorgeous little fighter:
If standard red isn’t your thing, perhaps you’d prefer sunny yellow:
Reader Chris McVeigh (Flickr) combines excellent photography with recent LEGO sets to tell a funny little story. Captioned “Trading Places,” Darth Vader trades places with Batman:
I think Batman got the better end of the deal.
Sjaak Alvarez recently posted a third installment in his ongoing series “It’s hard to be a Stormtrooper”.
Watch for the hilarious cameo at the end:
Sjaak animates each of his videos himself, using 3ds max 2009 and final Render 2.0. Very cool.
Here is a hi-resolution image of the upcoming Nov/Dec set for LEGO BrickMaster subscribers. This image was sent by Steve Witt from LEGO to Ace at FBTB. Enjoy this non-leaked photo! You can chime in or read the discussion on FBTB here.

Check out this custom mini ARC-170 Starfighter by C. K. Yee, who used either stickers or decals or both to decorate this creation to resemble the die cast model.
Tim Goddard adds a new microscale LEGO Star Wars diorama to his Mustaneer set with this great scene from the Clone Wars:
The brick-built smoke effects are great — especially where the laser beams rake across the ground. Tim’s microscale vehicles always good, but I love the red-white-and-blue Republic Gunship.
Brickshelf user edulyoung built a commanding figure of Darth Vader. Using Technic, Bionicle, and System parts, edulyoung mashes these eclectic piece together with interesting results. While Vader’s proportion’s aren’t 100% accurate, he certainly boosts an imposing form.
The Toys R Us exclusive LEGO Indiana Jones set 7628 Peril in Peru is now available from the LEGO Shop online.
One of my candidates for “favorite LEGO set of all time,” 7036 Dwarves’ Mine is once again available:
Of course, this latest update to the LEGO Shop online also includes a whole bunch of other new [...]
LEGO employees in the UK have put together tens of thousands of clone troopers to raise money for the National Autistic Society. As you can see, this puts Moko’s golden army to shame:
More details on Gizmodo. (Thanks for the link, Jesus Diaz and Jeramy Cooke!)
Tim “RogueBantha” Goddard has made quite a name for himself with his microscale LEGO Star Wars creations.
Tim’s latest is a modular Imperial base called Mustaneer (not to be confused with the far more distant Mustafar):
The base has a rack for a squadron of TIE fighters, a landing pad for an Imperial shuttle or landing craft, [...]
