Jarek (Jerrec) used to be a very regular feature here but it’s a while since I remember noticing anything new from him. But it’s been well worth the wait for this amazingly detailed Syrena 104. I love the real cars and cannot believe how perfect Jarek’s version is.

I love self-reference and this LEGO model of a LEGO moulding machine is as self-referential as they come. Sadly if you don’t already own one of these (I don’t) then I doubt you ever will. It would appear only 68 were made for the LEGO Inside Tour.
This pegasus sculpture by Edulyoung is beautiful enough to highlight here, but the Technic pedestal reveals there’s more to this flying LEGO horse than pretty white bricks. This video of the pegasus in motion quite literally took my breath away. Via Legobloggen.

Master Chief is neither the most interesting nor my favorite character from the Halo universe, but he is lucky to have the honor of being sculpted in LEGO by Jack Marquez (Ewok in Disguise). Though a bit foreshortened in this photo, the assault rifle is a nice build in its own right.
. . . I would so eat this. This entry by Sven Junga for the Mocathalon contest is fantastic in and of itself, but the brick built scalloped edge plate, garnish and crustacean flesh extractor all enhance the awesomeness.
I’ve never seen a fully articulated Lego skeleton sculpture until now. This model by Clay Morrow was real enough to fool me from the thumbnail. The rib cage is especially well-done.
Those three blind mice. See how they run? According to Barney Main (SlyOwl), one wasn’t quite quick enough. There is a ton of great stuff hidden in plain sight in this photo. The whole presentation of it is just fabulous.

This plane is just gorgeous. Ed Diment (Lego Monster) states that it’s a 1 in 20th scale, and he plans to add more. I can’t wait.
