Though it does at times feel a bit like an extended ad for the current LEGO Star Wars sets, “The Quest for R2-D2″ is a fun 5-minute video featuring some slick animation and funny moments reminiscent of the LEGO Star Wars video games.

Tomas Redigh spent 1,500 hours using LEGO to animate a song by Daniel Larsson. With appearances from Mario, Pong, Tetris, Pac-Man, and more, the video is sure to please any video game fan.

LEGO stop-motion animator David Pagano has stepped forward as one of the people behind the recent LEGO Space Police teaser.

Sometimes, the best way to illustrate a complicated technical concept is through LEGO bricks. I spent my workday today shifting capacity around for a pair of virtual servers I manage (Hyper-V rocks), so this video about server virtualization in “the cloud” really hit home.
