The intrepid retro-space astronauts of Chrispockster’s exploratory crew continue to encounter fascinating residents of the Planet Nidoria. Nidorians are of course famous for their bright green thoroughbred mounts (that’s a Bionicle creature put to excellent use):

Brickshelf user edulyoung built a commanding figure of Darth Vader. Using Technic, Bionicle, and System parts, edulyoung mashes these eclectic piece together with interesting results. While Vader’s proportion’s aren’t 100% accurate, he certainly boosts an imposing form.
…wouldn’t be as cool as this one.

I honestly can’t tell one humanoid Bionicle creation from another (sorry), but the life-like foliage in this vignette of “Nuala, magess of Earth” by Brickshelfer MuffinToa is pretty darn cool. The integration of SYSTEM pieces with Bionicle is what sets this apart — particularly in the green canopy of the tree.

A man of many names, Bioniblogger Ean H. (aka Arpy , aka Patuara) recreates an iconic scene from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by using Bionicle pieces.
Although Lucy does look a little blue (hey, it’s cold in that wardrobe!), I think this works rather well — especially Mr. Tumnus.
Toy Fair 2008 is approaching and there have been pictures of the late 2008 sets circulating on the web. I found Joe Meno with some of the first pictures of themes including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Speed Racer, Bionicle, and Batman.

The CCCV entries just keep pouring in. Mark Stafford’s entry is a fantastical flying ship in golds and blues. There are so many Bionicle parts in this creation that I think it deserves to be in the “Bionicle” category.
The minifig-scale Droideka (or Destroyer Droid) in official LEGO sets kind of balls up, but not really. hyf326 has built a fully functional Droideka from Bionicle. Okay, it doesn’t actually roll around and go “pew pew!” Still cool though.
