Awesome! As a female fan of Lego I am quite pleased. I want Zelda Lego sets and I hope eventually we have them, but I think this is a good time for female centered sets.
I don’t know why someone thought Sherlock would really work. I love, love Sherlock but its not meant for kids.
Now, two Doctor Who sets in the mix for the next set is really awesome. Its meant for kids, but of course, it has mass adult appeal.

As much as I’d love to see a Macross set, there was no way it was going to get to be an official set. Oh well :)

The one chosen is good, and I’ve got a niece who will love it.

It is a good idea, and carries some of the principles over from some of the Friends line. It’s also good to see a Cuusoo/Ideas product that doesn’t use existing 3rd party intellectual property (eg Ghostbusters, BTTF), and neither is it over the top in complexity. Nice going!

Well, this is great to see Lego taking fan ideas so seriously lately, and I do like the set, but it’s not different enough to be a Ideas project. It could just as easily be a great Friends set. Ideas sets need to be more original. So far we’ve had 2 sets from classic old movies that Lego never would have made without Cuusoo, 3 sets of famous exploratory vehicles that Lego also would probably not have made (they might have made the Mars rover, but it wouldn’t have been as big or authentic), and a micro-set based off a video game. And I’m really glad to see the Exo-suit get the green light. I was hoping for the Macross set, but at least Lego is developing real fan ideas into sets. I’ll take what I can get.
