Mini inland ferry
Ferry
Definitely the Ferry. Though I’m not sure this is really a fair fight. You guys should do better to pick your match ups.
Dave, I’m the only one who makes the matches, and while a few of the past bouts have been one-sided I didn’t think this would be one of them. I like the Aegis or I wouldn’t have put it up at all. I appreciate your vote though.
Dudes, did you not see the use of panels in the Aegis? It has my vote all the way.
I prefer the Aegis. Both are great models but getting such clean lines and recognizable silhouette at such a small scale is awesome. The Aegis gets my vote.
While both of these entries are well executed I think that I will have to throw my vote behind the Aegis. When I first looked at both the Ferry and the Aegis, my urge was to vote for the Ferry because of the size and scale. It includes a lot to look but the larger size also allows for greater building flexibility. The Aegis on the other hand is a masterful build on a micro-scale and uses some rather interesting techniques to capture the look and feel of a modern warship. I also applaud the fact that there are very few studs showing which gives the ship a very sleek and smooth look. Great job for both entrants!
