LEGO Star Wars AT-AP unveiled at SDCC, due out March 2014 [News]
This morning at Comic-Con in San Diego, LEGO unveiled yet another new set, an AT-AP walker from Star Wars (it first appeared in Episode III). The set includes 717 pieces and will retail for $69.99. It’s scheduled for release in March 2014.

Nice, but wow that looks similar to the 2008 one. Just a little bigger. But seriously…Using trapdoors in the same place on the sides…Ah whatever. Nice to see a new generation of 10-year olds will get to play with the walker : )
^ I think that’s a good perspective to have. I’ve been actively buying LEGO as an adult for 15 years, so like you, I don’t really need re-releases, but it’s important to keep in mind that the average 10-year-old probably wasn’t getting LEGO the last time one of these re-released designs came out…
