I built it in 2008, the same year it was first blogged by The Brothers Brick. I also built a Calamity Jane II, which has been featured here a number of times as well. I photoshopped the image into a space scene about a year ago, and then just painted it on canvas this week. Although it only took two days in execution, it has been in the planning stages for almost five years!

It’s crazy to see how creative members of the community are beyond the Lego medium. I love seeing people’s sketches evolve into builds. I wonder if he’ll build a model of this down the road.
