My but our little hobby is getting a bit mercenary. No offense to Brickarms, but this trend of squeezing the fans for every last dime on an already expensive hobby is not good.

Yeah, the way it works is that in every case of 20 packs, one of those packs will have a random gold-plated accessory in it. So overall you have about a 1 in 20 chance of getting that pack, or you can buy a sealed case of 20 in order to guarantee you get one.

I can’t say I’m a fan of the collectible/random goodie approach to distributing unique BrickArms weapons any more than I am for LEGO minifigs, but it certainly seems like a solid business decision that will net them some serious profits from their fan base.
