It looks like a great pirate ship, but I’m most excited by a lot of the smaller sets, such as 4191 Zombie Piratesicon and4192 Fountain of Youth.icon

It’s nice that the Pirates of the Caribbean sets aren’t all vehicles, but 4193 The London Escapeicon does have a couple of cute carriages.

So I put together a few of my sets last night. They are thick with great parts. Lots of printed elements. The brick/$ ratio is deplorable, worse than Star Wars I think. And I’m hoping I just got a bad batch but the figures are badly printed, translucent colors and smeared features. If anyone isn’t seeing this please let me know. I may not buy any more if they’re all going to look like crap.

I can second Caylin’s post above; I picked up two from my local TRU yesterday and all the printing looked great to me!

I have gotten one or two misprinted figs in the past, and customer service was exceptionally good about providing replacements. I know licensed parts have some special restrictions, but if you’ve got a few figs that are subpar, it’s worth a phone call to see if replacements are an option!

No problems like that on mine so far.

And for what it’s worth, 4193 (The London Escape) is a great set. Five minifigs with new faces and a “powdered wig” hairpiece, two horses, a bunch of new parts including one of those bandolier scabbards, a printed tile that looks like a painting of a ship, some of those new gold bar and coin parts, and a bunch of useful parts in dark green. And it’s not far from the 10c/part price point despite being a licensed set with all of the above.
