LEGO Toy Story 3 sets available on LEGO.com now [News]
Pixar’s Toy Story 3 will be out in movie theaters in a few weeks, but the LEGO Toy Story 3 are available now from the LEGO Shop online.
7597 Western Train Chase includes Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, Bullseye the horse, Rex the T-Rex, and Hamm the piggy bank.
Some of the Toy Story sets look like pretty good LEGO City sets, including a pizza truck and a garbage truck:
All five LEGO Toy Story 3 sets are available on LEGO.com.

I was really surprised to see these at the Lego store today, and I would have gotten one if the prices were more reasonable…

Wonder how many of these will be overcrowded with “one off” all-in-one shapes. That’s what I tend to dislike about the highly theme-ified/branded sets.

Really like that pizza truck, although a bit big for ‘City’ compatibilty

These don’t look too bad. Might pick one up myself.

Many of these sets are 20% to 25% off at Toys R Us this week.

I’m just about to blog that, but please read that post before you go running off to your local TRU. ;-)

I saw the train at a local toy store in Edmonton, AB, Canada last week (i.e. April 24-ish). It was way overpriced compared to what it is on Lego.com but then again, so was everything else in the store.

I think these are much too big for use in a regular LEGO city, but that pizza truck and the garbage truck are some of the best-looking vehicles LEGO have produced in a long time. Very nice. I can’t wait for them to come to Europe. I can also imagine train lovers drooling over the large-size red train wheels on the locomotive.

Agree with Ralph, that garbage truck looks very nice.

$40, $50, $80 U.S… Those are some high price points, especially for a line ostensibly aimed at younger children. At least the other Toy Story lineup has a few more options for the budget-conscious.

It’s not just a “pizza truck”. It’s the “Pizza Planet truck” that has appeared in every Pixar feature film. That’s the set that will get the hardcore Pixar fans excited the most.
