We usually don’t show photographs taken on grass or other busy surfaces but I’m making an exception for this beauty by Steven Locke (legoavon). Like his other work Steve has really gone all out in getting both the shape and the texture perfect. And it works so well.

That’s wild. I think grass makes a great background, incidentally.

I don’t quite mind a background like this (with stuff in it) because it adds to it. I’m interested in seeing more “environment” photos from builders…
Really amazing MOC! So much detail and work put in. Lots of great piece usage too.

i think that the background is excusable, because, really, where else would you photograph something this size?
