Islands in a Sea of LEGO

Chris Edwards (cjedwards47) recently uploaded photos of his fourth LEGO island, which incorporates something I’ve never seen before in a LEGO creation — dripping water.

The dripping water below the overhanging rock stands out, undoubtedly, but the island has lots more to offer the LEGO visitor. See more photos in the full photoset on Flickr.

    This. Is. Pure. AWESOMENESS!

I love it! It is one of, if not, the best landscaping sculptures I have EVER seen. Tell me, how long did it take for you to make it?

Oh and one more thing, how much of an interior is there? I know there is a door and cave, but there are no inside photos yet…

  3. According to the builder’s notes on photos 004 & 005 on Flickr, “Interior photos coming to Flickr soon!”

I can’t wait to see more of this fantastic model!

  4. I just had one of those, “Why didn’t I think of that?” moments. Pure brilliance.

    Thanks all!
It took me a week or two to build. I started off intending to build a small island this time, but it kept going up and up!

I just uploaded a few interior shots to Flickr.

  6. ^ Off the check them out, thanks!
