$125 off 10179 UCS Millenium Falcon, and enter to win one for free! [News]

The big announcement at midnight Eastern (that’s now!) isn’t just the free LEGO Star Wars minifig poster we announced a few hours ago.

10179 Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon™ is being discounted by 25%, or 125 USD for a limited time.

Even better, on May 3 and May 4, you can enter to win a first-edition UCS Falcon! Head on over to Shop.LEGO.com/MayTheForce in one minute for more info.

May the Force be with You™! Celebrate 10 Years of LEGO® Star Wars™

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the information we received about the Millennium Falcon discount and free poster didn’t indicate it was specific to the US & Canada. Sadly for our readers elsewhere, that appears to be the case.

I would buy one, as I would like to own one and have a poster too.
Shame these offers only ever seem to be for the US market. Poor old NZ never gets a look in.

My wife is probably going to kill me, but having regretted not doing so when these were on sale from Amazon, I went ahead and bought one. :-)

Sigh. In order to make the offer appear, I must first switch country to ‘United States’.

Now I TOLD Lego in their recent survey that the main thing they need to change is to make everything available for all countries. They still didn’t listen…

Maybe it’s an idea to add a ‘US only’ note in your post here… unless I’m mistaken and the rest of the world can enter, too.

^ Thanks for pointing that out. I’ve checked, and you’re right that this does appear to be limited to the US & Canada. :-( I didn’t know that when I got the info, but I’ve added that to the post.

Talking about getting screwed for being outside of the US. The millennium falcon is 579.99 Euros here.

    That’s 769 dollar!

I sent a complaint to Lego. Told them it would be $269 cheaper for me to just import one from the US via Bricklink.

I saw Denmark pays DKK 4699 or $837 for this thing. So of all countries people from Denmark are pretty much screwed the hardest.

I’m eager to hear their excuse.

I’m very, very, very tempted but then knowing what system sets are in the pipeline (Endor, Home One, Castle sets, Agents 2.0, Space Police) and some recent needed car repair (note to all: abandon your current career, because based on my experience, plumbing and car repair pay better by the hour than neurosurgery), I’m going to have to pass.

That, and seeing just how massive this beauty is when built, I just don’t have the space to store it.

I’m with Andrew. “My wife is probably going to kill me, but having regretted not doing so when these were on sale from Amazon, I went ahead and bought one.”

I did that. And I think my wife is gonna kill me. And no Pi, you can’t have my Lego.

Bought this set when it wasn’t on sale (and I had money coming out of my ears). Worth every penny – one of the best sets Lego has ever released.
