To boldly go…
Dan Rubin has taken a novel approach to spacecraft and produced a spaceship which is neither armed, nor human. His Emissary’s Ship uses unusual shapes and an atypical colour pallette to give an alien feel to this alien vessel. I’m particularly partial to the seamless change of symmetry from the tri-fold nose to the bi-fold rear.

The picture speaks for itself. Definitely another awesome space work from Dan.

The front of the spaceship still uses mirror (bilateral) symmetry.

You used the word “novel” twice. That’s too many.

“That’s too many” isn’t a sentence ;)
Fixed and thanks.

Hrb> That’s because it is constructed from C_3 and C_s. It’s defined by only 1/6th of the space with the other segments constructed through combinations of rotation and reflection. The rear is constructed by C_2 and C_s so that the entire ship is described by half the plane due to the reflection group in both segments.

It’s not just a spaceship, it’s a maths lesson!
